Stavridis to talk about the Assyrian Genocide and the worldwide movement for its recognition by the Republic of Turkey. Born to Greek parents in Cairo Egypt in 1949, Mr. Stavridis migrated to Australia with his parents in 1952. Tree Planted as a Remembrance for the Assyrian Genocide

EALING Council Leader Julian Bell and Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Rajinder Mann, have planted a tree in front of the council's Perceval House offices to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. Yesterday (January 27), was the 66th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp in south-west Poland.
